Virginia Mason Bainbridge Island is seeking a certified Medical Assistant. You will assist providers and other members of the healthcare team in the clinic by performing various back-office and patient-related tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and departmental operations. Responsibilities include performing procedures within the Medical Assistant scope of practice, such as injections, EKGs, ear lavage, blood draws, and measuring vital signs. You will manage rooming and patient flow, assist with visits, and handle post-visit duties, including informing providers of schedule changes and assisting with front office activities.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited medical assisting program, Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant - Certified (CM) credential, knowledge of third-party payer requirements, and strong organizational and communication skills. Prior experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
