Job summary

Preferred CMA/RMA certification; high school diploma or equivalent with six months MA experience, or completion of an MA program. Rural Health requires BLS within 6 months. Schedule: Full-time, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months experience as a Medical Assistant or a Patient Care Tech.
• Completion of MA program, EMT, nurse aide, LPN, armed services medic, or patient care technician is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical procedures and tests under supervision.
• Administers injections and venipuncture as directed; documents interventions and patient responses.
• Prepares exam rooms and equipment; assists with gynecological exams and routine procedures.
