Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to provide excellent patient care under supervision. You will perform a range of procedures, collect vitals, and assist providers with exams while maintaining clinical and clerical workflow.

Starting wages differ for non-certified and certified MA staff and a $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires. Typical hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, with duties including injections, venipuncture, and chart documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of MA/PCT experience.
• Preferred CMA or RMA certification and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in medical procedures and tests, including vitals.
• Prepare exam rooms, gather equipment, and document interventions.
• Administer injections, venipuncture, EKGs, and immunizations as directed.
• Collect patient history and prepare patients for visits.
