US Heart and Vascular is seeking a full-time Medical Front Office Specialist to join our Fort Worth Heart team in Fort Worth, TX. You will manage patient check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and billing workflows to support efficient care delivery.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and at least three years of front office experience in a medical setting, with familiarity in cardiology preferred. This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of Medical Front Office experience.
• Valid driver's license if driving is part of the role.

Responsabilités

• Schedules patient appointments efficiently, including referrals.
• Checks in patients and confirms appointments.
• Enters and updates patient demographics, insurance, and authorization data.
• Verifies insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Collects co-pays and balances at visit as applicable.
• Provides patients with required forms and assists with their completion.
• Answers calls and routes inquiries.
• Maintains scheduling systems and records.
• Provides coverage at other clinics as needed.
• Travel to/from other locations as required.

Description

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a full-time Medical Front Office Specialist to join our team at Fort Worth Heart in Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Schedules patient appointments efficiently, including appointments directed by referring providers.
• Checks in patients at clinic locations and confirm scheduled appointments.
• Accurately enters and updates patient demographic, insurance, and authorization information in required systems to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Verifies medical insurance coverage, eligibility, and patient demographic information.
• Informs patients of encounter co-pays, deductibles, and account balances; collects payments at the time of visit as applicable.
• Provides patients with required forms and facilitate their completion.
• Assists patients with presumptive applications, as applicable.
• Answers telephone calls in a timely and professional manner; respond to inquiries or transfer calls according to established procedures.
• Uses paging systems appropriately and page providers for hospital consults or call-backs as needed.
• Maintains accurate scheduling systems and appointment records.
• Provides coverage for check-in and check-out at other clinic locations as needed.
• When, position requires travel to/from other locations, ensures vehicles are operated and maintained in compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Adapts to changing priorities, processes, and business needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED from accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of Medical Front Office experience.
• If the individual in the role will drive for work purposes, a current valid state driver's license and required minimum auto insurance coverage.
• Cardiology experience preferred.
