Job summary

US Heart and Vascular seeks a Medical Assistant to support Fort Worth Heart in Fort Worth, TX. You will take vital signs, assist examinations, perform venipuncture and EKGs, and manage electronic health records under physician supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, BLS/CPR certification, CMA/RMA certification, and EHR experience. Bilingual skills are valued; Monday–Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA certification.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual skills in English and another language.

Responsibilities

• Take and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform venipuncture and other laboratory tests as required, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage electronic health records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Perform basic cardiology-related procedures, such as EKGs, Holter monitor placements, and stress tests, under supervision or as directed by physicians
• Handle multi-line phone systems and communicate effectively with patients, scheduling appointments and addressing inquiries.
