Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of OptumCare, is hiring a Medical Assistant for a 3.5‑day schedule in Adult Medicine in Westborough, MA. Primary duties include rooming patients, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, and EMR documentation. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates.

Competitive benefits accompany the hourly wage of $16–$29 depending on experience. Qualifications include MA certification or EMT, and prior MA or EMT work experience. EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification or 1+ year MA experience OR enrollment in an MA program OR EMT certification.
• Experience working as a Medical Assistant or EMT.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment & instruments
• Room patients, obtain health history and check vital signs
• Document patient care using electronic medical records software
• Perform phlebotomy, urinalysis, and handle patient specimen samples
• Administer medications and perform injections/immunizations
• Assist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing
