What You’ll Do
- Prepare exam rooms: sanitize, stock supplies, and ensure medications/vaccines are ready for the day.
- Review upcoming appointments and identify gaps in care (mammograms, colonoscopies, immunizations, etc.).
- Escort patients to rooms and manage patient flow to maximize efficiency.
- Take and record vitals, patient history, allergies, medications, and current concerns.
- Assist with procedures, including EKGs, Holter monitors, and in-office testing.
- Collect and process lab specimens; track and document results.
- Perform quality control on equipment and testing materials.
- Help at the front desk when needed — greeting patients, answering phones, verifying insurance.
- Collaborate with providers and the care team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
What You Bring
- Graduation from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
- Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (NHA, AMT, AAMA, NCCT).
- BCLS certification (in-person training only, American Heart Association).
- Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy and aseptic technique.
- A team-first attitude and commitment to providing respectful, quality care.
Salary Range
USD $25.66 - $33.36 /Hr.
