InnovaCare Health Inc. seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative functions across our Florida clinics. You will assist with examinations, prepare rooms, and manage patient intake.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of direct clinical experience, a calm, team‑oriented demeanor, and excellent patient service. Bilingual English/Spanish and CMA/RMA certification are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations, including vitals, medications, and history.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine labs and prepare specimens for transport to the lab.
• Maintain EMR and coordinate test orders; relay results to providers and patients.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations; perform other duties as assigned.

Our teams live and work in the same neighborhoods as our patients, and that connection fuels our mission.Job SummaryThe Medical Assistant (MA) role supports clinical and administrative functions, including assisting with medical procedures, maintaining exam rooms, managing patient intake, and ensuring efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.Essential Job FunctionsGreet patients and prepare them for physical examinations, including obtaining vital signs, weight, height, reviewing medications and medical history, allergies, and performing all ancillary tests required.Assists providers during patient examination, procedures, and treatment.Responsible for patient histories, routine lab procedures and preparation of specimens for transport to the lab.Follows up on test orders and reports results to provider and patient, provides and maintains patient education materials, maintains medical equipment, and orders clinical supplies.Creates and maintains patient electronic medical record (EMR).Comply with all OSHA and CLIA regulations.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.At least one (1) year experience of direct clinical patient care in a healthcare setting.Team spirit, a calm demeanor, and a passion for people.Preferred Qualifications:Certified in AED & CPRAt least 5 years as a certified medical assistantBilingual in English/SpanishCMA/RMA certificationThe information listed above is not comprehensive of all duties/responsibilities performed.
