Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant in Suffern, NY, to balance patient needs and maintain efficient clinic workflow while supporting physicians in all facets of procedures. The role emphasizes delivering an excellent service experience for every patient.

The position requires national registered/certified Medical Assistant status, bilingual Spanish/English, and 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience, including vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar role required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Location: 156 Route 59 Ste B1 & B2. Suffern, NY 10901-5005
• Schedule: Part-time, working Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Full-time schedule available if the candidate is able to commute to the clinics in Paramus and Yonkers (optional)
• This position requires to be National Registered / Certified Medical Assistant.
• Spanish and English speaking required.
• Compensation: $20-$24/hr.
