Spero Health, Inc. in Barbourville, KY is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our integrated care team. The role supports counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment, handling patient intake, vitals, drug screens and essential clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• 1–3 years as a Medical Assistant or similar role preferred.
• Phlebotomy and basic lab experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in/out and monitor patient flow.

• Perform daily financial summary and balance of payments received.
• Responsible for cash collection and verification of benefits.
• Review the Prescription Monitoring Database.
• Provide education and resource information regarding medication.
