Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast‑paced clinical setting and is comfortable working with an older patient population. This role is a key part of our care team, supporting both clinical operations and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical histories
  • Prepare patients for exams and assist physicians during visits
  • Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical procedures as neededManage patient flow to ensure efficient and timely visits
  • Document in the EMR system accurately and in real‑time, including preparing charts
  • Coordinate lab work, referrals, and follow‑up care
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support office operations
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with EMR systems (specifically eClinicalWorks)
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Confidence in phlebotomy skills preferred
  • Experience working with geriatric patients or other challenging phlebotomy cases is a plus
