Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MA diploma or certificate preferred.
• CMA or RMA certification strongly preferred.
• Prior clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong phlebotomy and vital signs skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in the EHR
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply inventory
• Administer injections, draw blood, and perform basic lab procedures as directed
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals
• Handle prescription refill requests and prior authorizations under physician supervision
• Communicate with patients regarding test results, follow‑up care, and instructions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred
• CMA or RMA certification (AAMA, AMT, or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Prior clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong phlebotomy and vital signs skills
