Job summary

OnSpot is redefining dermatology care with mobile clinics across Southeast Florida. We seek a Medical Assistant to join the mobile care team, providing hands-on support to dermatology providers, assisting during procedures, and helping deliver an outstanding patient experience.

This role offers travel with mobile clinics and a mission-driven environment focused on fighting skin cancer and improving lives, with growth in surgical dermatology and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Certified/experienced Medical Assistant with surgical or dermatology background preferred.
• Experience with EMA/Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred (training available for the right candidate).
• Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams.
• Scribe for providers and update electronic medical records (EMA/Modernizing Medicine).
• Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries.
• Label, process, and prepare specimens for the lab.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care.
• Support providers during additional testing and procedures.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for.
• Occasionally take on duties outside of standard MA tasks to support team operations.

The Role

We are looking for a Medical Assistant who is passionate about making a difference. As part of our mobile care team, you’ll provide hands-on support to dermatology providers, assist during procedures, and help deliver an outstanding patient experience.
