Job summary

Florida-Dermatology-and-Skin-Cancer-Centers is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role supports general dermatology and Mohs surgery across multiple office locations.

You will assist with procedures, manage specimens, document in the EMR, and ensure a clean, sterile environment while traveling with the clinical team to various locations in the area.

Qualifications

• Must have previous Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience assisting with surgical procedures or Mohs surgery.
• Able to travel between multiple locations.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with general dermatology patient care and procedures.
• Assist with Mohs surgery: surgical prep, room setup, assist during the procedure, patient care, and sterile environment.
• Perform specimen handling and proper labeling.
• Provide wound care and patient education as directed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock clinical areas.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and company safety standards.
• Travel with the clinical team to multiple office locations.

Join Our Dermatology Team! We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting both general dermatology and Mohs surgery across multiple office locations.

• Assist providers with general dermatology patient care and procedures


• Assist with Mohs surgery, including surgical preparation, room setup, assist the doctor during the procedure, patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment


• Perform specimen handling and proper labeling


• Provide wound care and patient education as directed


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record


• Clean, disinfect, and restock clinical areas


• Follow OSHA, infection control, and company safety standards


• Work collaboratively with providers, MAs, and front-office staff


• Travel with our clinical team to multiple office locations throughout the area

This Position May Be a Great Fit for You If You:

• Have previous Medical Assistant experience.
