Job summary

Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Family Practice Colonie office. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Responsibilities include documenting conversations, maintaining patient flow, preparing patients, obtaining specimens, and assisting with exams and procedures.

Compensation is $17.00 - $22.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurances, paid holidays, paid time off, retirement plan, and a business casual environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, members, physicians/providers, managers, co-workers, and external customers.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Experience with Allscripts is a plus!
