Job summary

Community Care Physicians' Family Practice Guilderland is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join their team. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm.

Responsibilities include documenting conversations in patient records, maintaining timely patient flow, preparing patients for visits, obtaining specimens, and assisting with examinations and procedures. Compensation is $17.00–$22.00 per hour, with possible overtime, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision,

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Allscripts is a plus!

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
