Job summary

Capital Cardiology Associates in Clifton Park, NY seeks a compassionate full-time Medical Assistant to support our cardiac care team. You will work closely with registered nurses to deliver high-quality patient care, perform EKGs and phlebotomy, and help with check-in/check-out and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MA, BLS, and Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Cardiac background preferred but not necessary.
• Familiarity with medical software and terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, vital sign checks, medication reconciliation, and assist with medical records.

• Assist with patient check-in/check-out, including verifying demographics, insurance, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, and ensuring test authorizations are in place.

Compensation:
