Job summary

Capital Cardiology Associates is seeking a compassionate and reliable full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. You’ll collaborate closely with registered nurses to provide high-quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities include performing EKGs, phlebotomy, vital sign checks, and assisting with medical records, patient check-in/check-out, verifying demographics and insurance, and ensuring test authorizations are in place. A patient-focused, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MA, BLS, and Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Cardiac background preferred but not necessary.
• Familiarity with medical software and terminology is a plus.

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $22-$23 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
