Job summary

Ascension Health is hiring for a full-time role at AMG Capital and Lily Clinic in Brookfield, WI. The position focuses on clinical and patient care, documentation, and basic administrative support within a Primary Care setting.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, charting, preparing rooms, and maintaining inventory. A High School diploma or equivalent and MA credentials or MA-related licensure are required, with BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire; American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• MA credential from AAMA, AMT, NCCT or National Healthcareer Association prior to hire/date.
• Possession of one or more MA credentials is preferred.

• Measures vital signs, interviews patients, assists with treatments and prepares exam rooms.
• Charts patient information, transcribes orders, and records diagnoses, symptoms, prescriptions and follow-ups.
• Performs basic clerical tasks: phones, records, filing.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Clinical & Patient Care: Measures vital signs, interviews patients, assists with provider-ordered treatments, and prepares examination rooms.
• Documentation & Scribing: Charts patient information, transcribes orders, and records diagnoses, symptoms, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions.
• Administrative Support: Performs basic clerical tasks, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Facility & Inventory: Orders and stocks supplies while maintaining a clean, organized, and orderly environment.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following:
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
