Innovative Medical Group is seeking a Back Office Primary Care Medical Assistant to join our team in Temecula, CA. You will manage administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds CMA or RMA certification, has at least 6 months of experience in a primary care or urgent care setting, and is proficient with EHR systems. This in-person role requires strong organization, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a primary care, urgent care or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs, and recording medical histories.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as required.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Conduct basic lab tests and report results.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Educate patients on healthcare management and treatment plans.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
• Other clinical tasks as assigned.
