This position requires CMA/RMA certification or equivalent, experience in a clinical setting, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Medical Assistant

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality primary care to our patients. Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, you will support medical providers, care managers, and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive clinical experience. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits by turning on instruments, computer systems, lights, and ensuring cleanliness and proper stock of supplies.
• Assist medical providers during patient examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs, recording patient histories, and preparing necessary documentation.
• Support care coordination efforts by facilitating communication between patients and healthcare team members.
• Administer basic nursing care within the scope of certification and agency protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and clinical activities.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols within the clinic environment.
• Facilitate patient flow by managing appointment schedules and assisting with patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Perform clerical duties such as updating patient records, scheduling follow-up appointments, and managing correspondence as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in primary care or outpatient clinics.
