Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Seattle, WA

Shift: 5x8—Dayshift

Schedule: Full-time (7:30 - 4:00 PM - Mon-Fri)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team at an Outpatient Clinic. The MA will play a vital role in supporting providers by assisting with clinical tasks and ensuring a smooth, patient-focused experience. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, familiar with outpatient procedures, and committed to providing excellent patient care.

Qualifications:

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active MA-C certification in Washington State highly preferred
• MA-R certification will be considered based on experience and fit
• BLS certification (AHA) required

Experience:

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Epic charting system required

Responsibilities:

Clinical Support:

• Room patients and assist with exams and procedures
• Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and chief complaints
• Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
• Assist with basic diagnostic tests and specimen collection

Charting & Documentation:

• Accurately document all patient interactions in Epic
• Maintain up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
• Provide compassionate support to patients throughout their visit
• Deliver instructions and education as directed by the provider
• Promote a welcoming and efficient clinical environment
