Job summary

Presbyterian Medical Group’s Kaseman location is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant I or II to join our outpatient care team. You will support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while helping ensure an efficient and positive experience for patients during visits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire.
• BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI) required.
• Maintains current certifications in required emergency response trainings (e.g. BLS).

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assistant procedures within MA scope under supervision.
• Assist with procedures as determined by provider.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Provide basic foot care.
• May perform regulatory audits as designated by the Clinic Manager.
• Assist with visit closure.
• Collaborate with care team to meet patient and clinic needs.
• May perform scribe duties after PMG scribe training.
