Job summary

The Medical Assistant will provide healthcare services to individuals under the supervision of the Physician or APP. They will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, and document appropriately in patients’ health records within the scope of their certification.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification, BLS, and at least 2 years of experience preferred within Methodist

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification is required; BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience is preferred.

Job Summary

• Education: High School Diploma Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program

• Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience, preferred Methodist Medical Group is the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System
