Job summary

Circle-the-Cit in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support mobile clinic operations. You will collaborate with the Nurse to determine task priorities and ensure accurate data entry for patient records.

This role requires completing an approved MA training, being able to obtain vital signs, and delivering compassionate care to underserved populations. A current Arizona driver’s license is required for mobile site shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training course.
• Ability to obtain vital signs accurately.
• Proficient computer skills for recording patient data/history.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Nurse to determine work assignments and priorities.
• Maintains ongoing verbal communication to ensure patient care and clinic flow.
• Collects and enters patient data into the database accurately and timely.
• Maintains patient confidentiality, rights, and dignity.
• Checks inventories weekly, orders, and stocks supplies.
• Assists patients with personal hygiene as needed.
• Ensures a clean, orderly, and functional work environment.
• Escorts patients to off-site appointments and arranges transport.
• Assists with copying, faxing, and filing.
• Handles phone coverage and triage when necessary.
• Performs MA duties at mobile clinic sites.
• Performs other duties as required.
