Job summary

Circle-the-Cit is seeking a Medical Assistant to support nursing staff across shifts, assist with data entry, patient care, and clinic operations at mobile and on-site sites in Phoenix.

You will collect vital signs, maintain confidentiality, handle triage calls, inventory and restock supplies, and help transport patients as needed. The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant program and good English, with bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training course.
• Able to obtain vital signs accurately.
• Proficient in reading and writing in English.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Bi-lingual communicative skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Nurse to determine work assignments and priorities.
• Communicates status of delegated task completion and patient data findings.
• Collects, collates and enters data into the applicable database accurately and timely.
• Makes patients comfortable and preserves confidentiality and dignity.
• Checks inventories weekly, orders and stocks supplies.
• Escorts patients to off-site appointments and facilitates transportation.
• Performs medical assistant duties at mobile clinic sites as required.
• Picks up additional duties as driver when assigned to mobile clinic.
