Job summary

OrthoArizona is hiring Medical Assistants for our Phoenix-area clinics. We seek entry-level to seasoned professionals to join a premier orthopedic care team offering growth opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Location: Phoenix (Arcadia), AZ. Job Type: Full-time. Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour. Travel with physician in clinic-to-clinic settings is expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office.
  • 1+ year using an EMR with ModMed / EMA experience preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.
  • Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.
  • Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in the procedure room with procedures, receive IV training and certification and start IVs.
  • Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and monitoring voicemail and phone calls.
