Job summary

Optima Medical in Arizona is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team. You will record vital signs, prep exam rooms, and assist with injections, blood draws, EKGs, PFTs, and other procedures.

Requirements include at least 1 year of clinical MA experience, EMR experience (eClinicalWorks preferred), and a CMA or MA diploma. We offer growth opportunities, a supportive work environment, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Medical Assistant Course Completion Diploma or CMA designation required.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.
