Job summary
Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the dermatologist in the exam room, assisting with rooming, scribing, and patient care. The role emphasizes a friendly, efficient environment for patients and staff during dermatology visits.

Qualifications
- 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity.
- Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations.
- Willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Must possess organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work well both in a team.
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients and documents all vital information.
- Scribing information for the dermatologist.
- Providing post op wound care to patients.
- Drawing blood and suture removal.
- Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms.
- Scheduling patient appointments.
- Assist the dermatologist with procedures such as biopsies, Mohs surgery, injections, and related tasks.

This is a full time position and will work:
Monday 9:00a-5:00p
Tuesday 8:00a-5:00p
Wednesday 9:00a-5:00p
Thursday 9:00a-5:00p
Friday 8:00a-3:00p
Saturday 7:00a-12:00p - once a month
The Medical Assistant is essential during the patient visit, accompanying the dermatologist in the room and promoting a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is strongly preferred

For this position, the base pay range is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, certification, or training
