Bilingual Medical Assistant - Alafaya, FL

Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-ups with patients and maintain accurate data entry for patient updates.
• Answer inbound phone calls and address patient inquiries efficiently.
• Order laboratory tests and relay lab results to patients and healthcare providers.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and ensure proper triage of patient needs.
• Provide clinical support and assist in various medical procedures.
  
  

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in medical assisting.
• Medical Assisting diploma or certification preferred.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Athena.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and insurance procedures is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  
  

Work Environment

The position is based onsite at a clinic operating Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The work environment is supportive and encourages professional growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
