Job summary

InnovaCare Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations. The MA will greet patients, prepare them for examinations, and assist providers during procedures, while maintaining patient histories, lab procedures, and EMR documentation.

The ideal candidate holds CMA/RMA certification, CPR/AED, and 5+ years CMA experience, with bilingual English/Spanish abilities. The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate patient care, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA/RMA certification preferred.
• AED & CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• 5+ years CMA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations, including vitals, history, medications, allergies.
• Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Handle patient histories, routine labs, and specimen prep for transport.
• Follow up on test orders and report results to provider and patient; provide patient education materials; maintain equipment and order supplies.
• Create and maintain patient EMR records.
• Comply with OSHA and CLIA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
