Manhattan Specialty Care

A reputable multi-specialty medical practice is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to ensure the smooth operation of the medical facility. The Medical Assistant must be able to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and commit to providing high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  1. Obtain medical history from patients and record vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, assist during exams, and explain treatment procedures.
  2. Use EMR system to verify patient identity before examinations, including acquiring medical history and allergy information.
  3. Perform routine specialized procedures such as venipuncture, catheterization, and sterile dressing changes following established protocols.
  4. Enter data related to lab studies, radiographic tests, and authorization requests in compliance with physician directives.
  5. Support medical staff with routine clinical tasks.
  6. Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, sterilized, and stocked with supplies before patient examinations.
  7. Handle administrative duties promptly and efficiently.
