Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is hiring full-time Medical Assistants to support patients at our South Philadelphia office. The role requires traveling to all five Philadelphia offices to ensure seamless patient care and scheduling.

You will work with an assigned physician daily, assist with exams, record vital signs, and perform stress tests and EKGs while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
• 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Cardiology-related procedures familiarity (stress tests, Coumadin management, Holter monitors) a plus.
• Ability to multitask.
• Computer literacy required.
• Experience with EMR systems a plus.
• Must be well-spoken, friendly and outgoing.

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned physician daily.
• Escort patients to the exam room.
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs.
• Perform stress testing and EKGs.
• Follow up on lab results.
• Answer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessary.
• Assist with appointment scheduling.
• Review and prepare the next day's assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for full-time Medical Assistants to work at our South Philadelphia office. Please note that this position requires traveling to all 5 Philadelphia offices.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.*

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Familiarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plus
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holiday time.

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
