Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient flow and support physicians across our vein, fibroid, vascular, and prostate centers. You will ensure a smooth service experience from intake to procedures, handling vitals, documentation, and routine clinical tasks with care.

Responsibilities include patient greeting, rooming, EMR entries, and support across multiple clinics with training provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Experience in vital signs, rooming patients, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of Medical Assistant training or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in fast-paced settings.

• Document vital signs, histories, and clinical data in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as trained.

Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures - before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details

• Schedule: Must be available to work Sunday through Friday, with shifts scheduled as needed between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
• Location: Float position supporting our clinics at Pennsylvania Ave, Flatbush, Brighton Beach, Sheepshead Bay as needed
• Language Requirement: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
• Paid Training (2-4 weeks)
• Compensation: $20-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast‑paced clinical environment
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• 1-2 years of hands‑on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, requiredCompletion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast‑paced environment, required
