Monarch Medical Management supports multi-specialty medical practices throughout the Greater New Orleans area, providing services that include orthopedics, neurology, pain management, MRI imaging, chiropractic care, and physical therapy. Our teams are focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care while maintaining efficient, well-supported clinical operations across all service lines.
Triage patients and perform initial clinical assessments, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and relevant health information. Prepare patients for exams and procedures while accurately documenting findings in the electronic medical record. Perform medication reviews and reconciliation, verify allergies, and document discontinued medications as required. Assist providers during patient visits and support pre-visit and post-visit workflows to maintain efficient patient flow. Provide patient education, after-care instructions, and after-visit summaries as directed by the clinician. Communicate provider instructions, prescription refill requests (no medication changes), and test results to patients, pharmacies, and internal teams via phone and electronic systems. Receive and process lab and radiology results, ensuring documentation is available for patient visits. Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms in compliance with clinic standards and HIPAA requirements. Deliver professional, courteous customer service while protecting patient confidentiality. Travel to surrounding clinic locations as required to support practice operations.
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Minimum of two years of hands-on medical assistant or clinical healthcare experience required. Medical Assistant certification is not required. CPR certification preferred. Experience in orthopedic, neurology, or spine care is a plus. Familiarity with eClinicalWorks and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) skills are also a plus.
