Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join their client’s California team. In this dynamic healthcare setting you will support physicians and nurses, prepare patients for exams, take vitals, and assist with procedures to ensure smooth clinical workflows.

You will maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system, coordinate appointments and referrals, educate patients about conditions and treatments, and uphold strict confidentiality and regulatory

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; medical assisting certification preferred.
  • Previous MA or healthcare experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information and clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support additional medical and administrative duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical assisting is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information and performing clinical tasks.
Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 1st shift
