Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Medical Assistant in California to join a dynamic healthcare team. You will provide clinical support, take vital signs, and document findings while assisting with examinations and procedures.

Maintain patient records and coordinate appointments, ensuring confidentiality and quality care. The role requires a high school diploma (medical assisting certification preferred) and prior healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting certification preferred.
• Prior medical assisting experience in healthcare setting highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
• Perform vital signs measurements, patient assessments, and document findings accurately.
• Assist with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures as directed by healthcare providers.
• Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals as needed.
