Job summary

Privia Health in Mansfield, TX seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or RMA to greet patients, document vitals, assist providers, and perform routine labs. You will maintain EMR records (NextGen) and support scheduling while ensuring rooms are ready and patient safety is emphasized.

Familiarity with NextGen EMR is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Hours: Mon–Thu 7:15 am–4:00 pm, Fri 7:15 am–2:45 pm, with occasional Saturday clinic availability.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA or RMA certification.
• 3 years of experience in primary care.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical protocols.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the provider
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and properly set up
• Support quality improvement initiatives, including patient recall, preventive screenings, and care gap closures
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed
• Follow infection control and safety procedures

Job Requirements:

• Must have a CMA or RMA current certification
• 3 years of experience in primary care
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Previous EMR/EHR experience with NextGen is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical protocols.
• Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:15 am-4:00 pm, Friday 7:15 am-2:45 pm (must be flexible) and available for Saturday clinic at least once a month from 8am-12pm
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
