Summary

Now offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for Medical Assistant & Medical Office Specialist new hires!
Effective May 9, 2025, to August 29, 2025. Applicable only for MA & MOS positions in the Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices.

Provides general Medical Assistant assistance to Internal Medicine physicians in an outpatient setting. Demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate growth and development principles, applying them to individualized patient care.

Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year experience, preferably in a medical office setting

Specific Requirements

• Certification: CPR (preferred)
• Age-specific care for adolescents, adults, geriatrics

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
• Experience with Meditech and Epic (if applicable)
• Performance Manager/NetLearning
• Strong computer skills, effective communication, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and flexibility.
