Job summary

Marquee Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant for a contract-to-hire, on-site role in Laguna Woods and Irvine, CA. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 40 hours/week. HS Diploma and Medical Assistant certificate required; front and back office experience.

You will support a busy specialty clinic, assist with patient flow, document in EHR, manage inventory, and provide excellent patient service. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Medical Assistant certificate from accredited program.
• Front and Back office Medical Assistant experience.
• Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced environment (multitasking and efficiency are key).
• Strong communication and patient-service mindset.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, and assist with patient flow
• Enter patient history/physical information into the EHR
• Turn over rooms and maintain procedure readiness
• Set up/prepare back table for procedures
• Assist patients with compression stockings post-procedure
• Draft letters of medical necessity per provider treatment plan for pre-authorization
• Track, stock, organize, and maintain inventory of medical supplies
• Provide excellent customer service in a busy, high-volume environment

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire | Full-Time (40 hrs/week) | On-site Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Locations: Laguna Woods & Irvine, CA Pay Range: $22-$30/hr (based on experience)

About the Role

Join a fast-paced specialty clinic focused on minimally invasive treatments. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a Surgeon and PA, build strong clinical skills, and grow with a supportive team across two locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, and assist with patient flow
