LeoForce in Glendale, CA is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant (Korean/English) to join our clinical team. You will support physicians and staff with both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience, is proficient with EMR/EHR, and can administer injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs while maintaining HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office or outpatient setting preferred.
  • Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) preferred or required based on state regulations.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and room patients with exceptional service and compassionate care.
  • Document patient vital signs, histories, medications, and chief complaints.
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist during examinations and procedures.
  • Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments per provider.
  • Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and related clinical duties as needed.
  • Document patient information in the EMR accurately.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, follow-ups, and instructions.
  • Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, prescription refills, and testing.

Job Details

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Bilingual Medical Assistant (Korean/English) to join our growing healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians and clinical staff while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clinically skilled, and passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient. In this role, you will support providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities while serving as a valuable resource for our Korean-speaking patient population.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and room patients while providing exceptional customer service and compassionate care.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, medications, and chief complaints.
  • Prepare exam rooms and patients for physician examinations and procedures.
  • Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures.
  • Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments as directed by the provider while following all clinical safety protocols.
  • Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and other clinical duties as needed.
  • Accurately document patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, follow-up appointments, and provider instructions.
  • Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, prescription refill requests, and diagnostic testing.
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms while ensuring compliance with OSHA and infection control standards.
  • Communicate fluently in both Korean and English to assist patients and families throughout their visit, helping ensure clear understanding of medical instructions and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician office or outpatient healthcare setting preferred.

  • Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, infection control practices, and patient confidentiality requirements (HIPAA).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
