Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Glendale is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient office workflow, supporting the physician before, during and after procedures, ensuring an excellent service experience.

Locations include Glendale, West Hollywood, and Valley Village. Compensation ranges from $21–$25/hr with paid training and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar.
• Clinical duties: vital signs, rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, specimen collection.
• Completion of MA training program and CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.
• Proven patient-facing/customer service in fast-paced settings.
• Fluency in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients; ensure positive experience.
• Document vitals and histories in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, specimen collection as trained.
• Accurately document interactions in EMR/EHR.
• Use EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Athenahealth, or eCW.
• Support care in clinics, urgent care, pharmacies, hospitals or home health.
• Leverage bilingual skills for patient communication.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

• Schedule: Monday, Friday, and Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such asvital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or currentCMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
• Fluency in Spanish & English required
