Gastro One is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant/Recovery Room Tech to support our gastroenterology team. The role involves turning over rooms, coordinating clinical duties as assigned by the RN, safeguarding patient information, and maintaining a safe environment.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year experience, and BLS certification. Training and benefits are provided as part of our comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited CMA, PCT or CNA program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• BLS required.

• Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
• Adheres to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
