Gastroenterology East, P.A. & Endoscopy Center in Greenville, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations, ensure a welcoming environment, manage patient flow, and assist with procedural readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant, CNA, or PCT training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer and direct phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and address needs promptly.
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, including cleaning, stocking, and room turnover.
• Assist with patient flow to and from procedure rooms.
• Support patient positioning and care within scope of practice.
• Pull and stage case materials in designated areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with administrative duties as needed.
• Follow aseptic and sterile techniques in all applicable procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and patient experience.
• Adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Position Summary
