Job summary

USPI in Greenville, NC is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced GI center. You will greet patients, prepare rooms, assist procedures, and maintain documentation while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, completion of MA/CNA/PCT training, and at least 1 year of clinical experience; strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Patient Care Technician (PCT) training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer and direct phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and address needs promptly.
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, including cleaning, stocking, and room turnover.
• Assist with patient flow to and from procedure rooms.
