Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with procedures, perform phlebotomy, and manage basic lab tasks in a busy clinic.

The role is located at 6420 W Newberry Rd, Ste 100, Gainesville, FL 32605-6622, with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule and on-site work. A year of MA experience and a high school diploma are required; BLS is needed within 30 days.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required and will be required to produce at time of hire.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
