Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians in a busy clinic in Pensacola. You will assist with procedures, perform phlebotomy, run lab tests, and ensure quality control and equipment maintenance.

Requirements include at least one year of MA experience in a clinic setting, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm at our Pensacola location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in office.
• Perform phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office, with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; must provide proof at time of hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire or within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide a BLS course within the first 30 days).
