Job summary

Nextaff is seeking a skilled Bilingual Medical Assistant to support a busy primary care practice in North Ft Myers, FL. You will greet, triage, and room patients, take vitals, and assist providers while ensuring accurate medical records and smooth clinic operations.

This is a full-time, contract-to-hire role with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule, offering $20–$24 per hour, weekly pay, and Day 1 health insurance eligibility, plus a path to permanent placement and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience in primary care or internal medicine.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and triage patients and room them.
• Take vitals and assist providers during exams.
• Maintain and update patient records in the EMR.
• Help keep the front desk and clinic operations running smoothly.

Nextaff is hiring an experienced bilingual Medical Assistant to support a busy primary care practice in North Ft Myers, FL. In this vital role, you'll be hands-on with patient care - greeting, triaging & rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting providers, managing and updating medical records, and keeping the office running smoothly. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule (no nights or weekends) and a clear path to a permanent position with our client.

What We Need From You?

• 1+ year of recent Medical Assistant experience in a Primary Care or Internal/Family Medicine medical practice setting
• strong knowledge of HEDIS & Managed Care requirements
• Must be bilingual, fluent in English & Spanish
• Experience using EMR applications (eClinicalWorks preferred)
• Must be friendly, outgoing, and enjoy caring for patients
• High school diploma or equivalent, background & drug screening required
