Job summary

Saafe Behavioral Svcs. seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in DeLand, FL. You will provide medical services under provider supervision, greet patients, and support front and back office needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-care services – Verify all medical history and chart notes. Create and maintain patient-care plans, while instructing and guiding patients on progress.
• Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
• Take vitals
• Understand medical terminology and office procedures and policy
• Insurance verification
• Move patients through appointments as scheduled
• Other duties: – Answer phones, collect co-pays, take messages and greet patients. Assist in Telehealth services.
• Complete other clerical duties as assigned
