Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our clinical team and deliver exceptional care for patients of all ages.

You will greet and room patients, record vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist providers during examinations and procedures. Responsibilities include administering medications, handling refills, basic lab tests, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program or an Associate degree.
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross, CPR in process considered.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• - High school diploma or equivalent.
• - Knowledge of medical terminology and acceptable approved abbreviations.
• - Certification from an accredited school for Medical Assistance or Associate degree in Medical Assistance
• - Current Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA) or Health Care Provider from Red Cross. Must have current BLS card or in the process of getting CPR certified before hire.
